Fluffy recovered and is now back home - as an indoor cat. Temperatures were hovering around 10 degrees outside at the time.
Her owners discovered her buried in the snow near their Kalispell, Montana, home on January 31.
Unresponsive, with ice matted to her fur, Fluffy's owners prayed for a miracle as they carried their beloved pet into the Animal Clinic of Kalispell. After a few more hours, Fluffy finally began to show signs of recovery. "Fluffy is incredible!" the clinic said.
"She [was] crouched down looking like she's hunting something or something's in the snow bank", Dr Clark said. Despite her harrowing encounter, clinic vets told KULR that by the evening, Fluffy was seemingly back to her normal self and now appears to be recovering.
The clinic posted pictures of the recovery on its Facebook page.
