A video has been circulating on social media that captures the terror that Israelis endure when Hamas launches rockets at them.

The strikes came after two rockets that were launched from the coastal enclave hit the town of Sderot, near Gaza's northern border, police and the army said.

Three Israelis were also injured from the strikes, none of which are believed to be serious.

While Israel's main news channels decided Wednesday night to continue broadcasting regular content (at one point a report from a house in Sderot that had been damaged by rocket fire was cut short so the program could return to a segment on tomatoes), by Thursday morning there seems to be a recognition that this barrage may not be just another flareup.

The Gaza Health Ministry said that a Hamas fighter and the two civilians were killed in separate incidents. Israel's military said it targeted more than 140 Hamas "military sites".

"If it becomes necessary, the residents of the Gaza border communities will be evacuated", he said. Hamas said two of its fighters were killed after taking part in a gunfire parade inside a militant camp.

It was the third severe flare-up of violence since July and came despite attempts by United Nations officials and Egypt to secure a long-term truce between Israel and Hamas.

The headline that read: "Israeli airstrikes kill a woman and a baby", reported the continuous Israeli airstrikes on Gaza during Wednesday night in which a pregnant woman was killed with her one year old daughter.

Manchester United Must Keep Paul Pogba, Warns Rio Ferdinand
In spite of Mourinho telling the press that all is well between them, these recent rumours have proved otherwise. According to the Times, the relationship between the pair has soured even further over the summer.

The escalation comes after the Hamas leadership convened for a rare meeting in Gaza on Friday. Hamas militants responded with a cross-border fusillade that sent Israelis scrambling for air raid shelters.

The military said that it identified 36 rockets fired from Gaza at Israel and that the Iron Dome defense system intercepted several of them.

In another round of escalation, Israel responded to rocket fire by striking what it says are Hamas militant targets in Gaza.

The attacks come as the United Nations and Egypt try to secure a deal between Israel and Hamas for a lasting truce.

On Thursday, the IDF destroyed a five-story building allegedly housing Hamas' internal security service and offices of the group's senior officials.in response to a rocket fired at Beersheba, almost 40km from the border with Gaza. "If the current escalation is not contained immediately, the situation can rapidly deteriorate with devastating consequences for all people".

The nearly daily airborne arson attacks have been part of months of weekly border protests led by the Islamic militant group Hamas that rules Gaza aimed in part at drawing attention to the Israeli-Egyptian blockade imposed after it took control of the territory in 2007.

The video was also shared by at least one account in Gaza as proof that Hamas should not be messed with and will hit back if attacked.

Tension along the Israel-Gaza border has escalated since late March, when Hamas launched what would become regular mass protests along Israel's perimeter fence with Gaza. But it has come under heavy global criticism for its frequent use of force against unarmed protesters.
