Motorola Moto Z3 Unveils

Moto Z3 Smartphone With 5G Moto Mod Launched in US Slated to Go on Sale on August 16 Moto Z3 Smartphone Launched

Although the Force series of Moto phones hasn't set the market on fire in the previous years, these phones are liked by a number of users due to their shatter-proof screen and nearly unbreakable design. That's not up to the quality of, say Samsung's Galaxy range, and is actually lower than its predecessor, the Z2 Force - though that did come with a smaller 5.5in screen.

Motorola has finally announced its Moto Z3 smartphone with support for Moto Mods.

Apart from that, the Moto Z3 is your standard ~$500 smartphone.

It has 12 megapixels dual (monochrome + RGB) rear camera withf/2.0 aperture, 1.25um pixel size, Laser Autofocus (pDAF), Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) dual LED flash and Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL). For now the phone has been launched only in the USA, and will be available there at a price of around $480.

Motorola has something impressive when it comes to Moto Mods with the new Moto Z3, with the company announcing the new 5G Moto Mod that will be a snap-on accessory for the Z3 that will add 5G connectivity in the future. While the phone does feature almost everything you'd expect from a premium phone in 2018 (except for the highest end processor), Motorola is instead of betting on the 5G future for its success.

The Z3 is also slightly larger than the Z2 Force, coming in at 6.2 x 3in. This year that won't be the case. The Moto Z3, as said is an updated version of the Z3 Play, henceforth accompanies a superior equipment and camera setup. The better hardware, along with the features like nearly unbreakable body and shatterproof screen, may even help Motorola position the Force phone as a premium, high-end phone.

Battery capacity is 3000 mAh. Read on to find out more about the new Moto Z3.

However, the Motorola company eventually confirmed that no more Moto Z-Series models will debut this year.

The 5G mod will provide fantastic data speeds, but isn't out until 2019, and even then will only be available in four USA cities. "Additional features include dual 12-MP, depth-sensing smart cameras that work with Google Lens and a almost borderless 6" Super AMOLED display screen.

The Moto Z3 packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupling up with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Motorola Moto Z3 design: What does it look like? Motorola played it safe with no notch, while the bezels at the top and bottom are pleasingly narrow. Still, it would've been nice to have had a bit of a flourish so we could tell the two apart.
