Tesla plans to launch electric compact auto within five years: Musk

Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Tesla, has disclosed that the latest version of Autopilot will begin rolling out in August, which will authorize the fully autonomous capabilities of Tesla vehicles. Ubergizmo argued that it's unlikely that Tesla's cars can suddenly be transformed into fully autonomous vehicles and that term could simply be a fancy marketing term for new features as opposed to its literal meaning.

Tesla will get the new software update after two years as Version 8 was announced back in 2016, which brought a revamped user interface, a set of new features and significant improvements to Autopilot. To date, Autopilot resources have rightly focused entirely on safety. The stock is also in the green in after-hours activity. The latter then stuffed the shells with lithium-ion battery cells and electric motors, eventually making the first all-electric auto that could travel over 200 miles on a single charge. The version 9 update will be pushed out over-the-air to Tesla owners.

Tesla has been gradually upgrading its Autopilot features with regular software updates.

Tesla has repeatedly said Autopilot is meant to be used with an attentive driver whose hands are on the wheel, but the most visible accidents involving Autopilot have included reports of distracted drivers. Musk tweeted early Sunday morning about Tesla Version 9.0 including major updates for Autopilot 2.0.

According to Telsa CEO Elon Musk, to improve the performance, the package option of forthcoming Telsa Roadster will include ten small rocket thrusters, which are arranged around the auto.
