Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 plus, Nokia 6 Launched in India

HMD Global, the official license holder of Nokia has officially launched the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia 8 Sirocco in India, today. Nokia 8 Sirocco is diluted 7.5mm. They both bring appealing new designs and are part of the Android One initiative, which means stock Android and timely updates for two years. During the launch, HMD promised that all three of those devices will get monthly security update, while the company also promised that they will be updated to Android P once the update becomes available. This smartphone has a 5.5 inch Bezel Lace display.

The dual rear camera setup on Nokia 8 Sirocco is Zeiss branded (ask your photographer friends why it is a big deal). Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Nokia 8 Sirocco is a premium offering which gets a price tag of Rs. 49,999. The internal storage capacity of the device is 32GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The flagship smartphone from HMD Global comes with stainless steel metal unibody. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1. The phone houses a 3260mAh battery.

The 41MP sensor is expected to come with 1.4-micron pixels, OIS, a wide-angle lens, and a variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4 while the 20MP sensor will have telephoto lens OIS, 1-micron pixels, and a f/2.4 aperture. At the launch of the new range of smartphones, Ajey Mehta, Vice President India, HMD Global said, "2017 has been an instrumental year for us - we set up our business operations in the country and launched a portfolio of devices that received overwhelming response from the consumers". It comes in Black / Copper, White / Iron and Blue / Gold colors. However, Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus will be available for pre-bookings from April 6 and April 20 respectively. The phone will be available via Flipkart, Nokia mobile shop, and offline retail stores. The smartphone was launched at Rs 14,999 in India past year as an Amazon India exclusive and has earlier received a price cut of Rs 1,500. Airtel cashback offer of Rs. 2000 and extended Airtel TV app subscription is applicable on this device as well. Airtel customers buying the Nokia 8 Sirocco will be able to enjoy an additional data benefit of 120GB.
