Kansas City Chiefs trading CB Marcus Peters to LA Rams

Report: Chiefs to trade star corner Marcus Peters to Los Angeles Rams Chiefs trading Marcus Peters to Rams could put Trumaine Johnson in Bears' plans

If Peters did express some feelings of not wanting to be with the Chiefs, and they already had some issues with his behavior, then it makes sense why Kansas City agreed to trade him this offseason. In three years, Peters have caused more turnovers (25) than any other player in the league, earning a First-Team and Second-Team All-Pro seasons, along with a pair of Pro Bowl berths.

Earlier this week there were reports that the Chiefs were looking to trade Peters but would need a haul in return. Peters was later suspended by the team for walking off the field after he threw a flag in the stands even though he had not been kicked out of the game. Hunt has also met with Peters in the past to discuss his protests during the national anthem.

Only time will tell if a fresh start in the City of Angels will work out for Peters and the Rams.

However, if they did go after Johnson, new defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus would be getting a big, physical corner to build the rest of the secondary around.

None of those character concerns was evidently enough to dissuade the Rams from making a deal, though.

Ferrari 488 Pista Goes Official Bringing Race Tech to the Road
With more power and less weight, Ferrari says the Pista will hit 62 miles per hour in 2.85 seconds and 124 miles per hour in 7.6. Incredibly, 0-62 mph takes just 2.85 seconds, while 0-124 mph takes 7.6 seconds before the 488 Pista tops out at over 211 mph.

Peters was originally the 18th overall pick out of Washington in 2015 and will cost $3.05 million toward the salary cap this season.

The Chiefs will obtain a potential replacement for Peters when the Smith deal becomes official. Additionally, this pick could also be flipped for more selections in the draft if the opportunity presents itself.

However, there has yet to be any true clarity as to what the Rams had to give up in exchange for Peters aside from the designation of a package of draft picks.

The Rams are already without a second-round after their trade for Sammy Watkins previous year.
