A second person of interest named in the court records was Marilou Danley, Paddock's girlfriend. An FBI spokeswoman told that outlet she could not immediately comment Tuesday. "I was like, 'Good lord, what is going on?'" The agents who visited him, he said, told him he wasn't in trouble but said they needed to ask him some questions. Haig once had his own side business selling ammunition and sold ammo to Paddock not knowing weeks later Paddock would open fire on a concert from the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

"I am the guy who sold ammunition to Stephen Paddock", he told the Associated Press on Tuesday after his name was published. "I've been interviewed, and that's as far as it went", Haig told Newsweek. "And I can't remember whether he said for or with his friends, but that's what he did say".

Larry Hatfield, a spokesman for the department, declined to comment on whether Mr. Haig was still considered a person of interest or whether he was the person the sheriff said remained under investigation.

In October a year ago, a law enforcement official told the AP that Paddock had bought around 1,000 rounds of ammunition from an anonymous seller.

Douglas Haig told CNN affiliate KNXV on Tuesday that he was identified as a person of interest following the massacre that left 58 people dead at a country music festival outside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. On Tuesday, a website for the company noted "We Will Be Closed Indefinitely". The Las Vegas Review-Journal was the only publication that received a copy of a document that had Haig's name unredacted.

Almost 300 pages of search warrant records were unsealed Tuesday by a judge, and one document publicly identified an additional person sought by police for questioning, reported the Las Vegas Review Journal. Clark County District Court Judge Elissa Cadish later ordered the full document not be published without redactions, but she acknowledged she couldn't order the newspaper to retract the name.

It's not clear if Paddock, who killed himself moments after the shooting, fired ammunition on October 1 that Haig had sold him.

Authorities say she's not likely to face criminal charges.

On Jan. 19, Sheriff Joe Lombardo released a preliminary report that stated the Federal Bureau of Investigation and police believe Paddock acted alone before committing suicide.

Separately, Judge Timothy Williams ruled that the Clark County coroner should release autopsy records of the shooter and the 58 people killed by gunfire, with victims' names blacked out.

Originally, police stated that an unnamed person could face charges in the mass shooting that killed 58 people and injured over 800 more on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Associated Press and Las Vegas Review-Journal are seeking the autopsy records to answer questions including whether there were delays getting medical care for any of the victims who died.
