Airport police said the passenger, an adult male, smeared the feces throughout "a couple" of bathrooms and also took off his shirt and tried to shove it in one toilet.

A commercial airline flight from Chicago to Hong Kong was diverted to Anchorage Thursday night because of an incident on board the aircraft.

According to KTVA-TV, United Airlines flight 895 had to make the emergency stop at Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage on January 4.

The plane was grounded overnight for maintenance, which meant the passengers were stranded for the night in Anchorage.

The man made no threats and did not try to interfere with the flight crew, Gamache said, adding that no charges have been filed.

HBO's Game of Thrones Doesn't Come Back Until 2019
Benioff and Weiss are not involved in those concepts but other Thrones veterans, like Cogman, a longtime writer and producer, are. After months of speculation, HBO has finally confirmed that the last season of Game Of Thrones won't be airing until 2019.

The passenger was reportedly cooperative when he was met by airport authorities and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents in Anchorage.

The disruptive passenger was taken to Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage for a psychological evaluation but was not charged for leaving his crap behind.

In a statement, United said the unlucky passengers were put up in hotels and that the airline would be working to get them to their destinations as soon as possible.

Earlier in December, a flight faced a lavatory problem of another sort, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.

Staci Feger-Pellessier, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Anchorage, told NBC affiliate KTUU that authorities were alerted that "an unruly passenger had caused some kind of disturbance" on the plane.
