The 70-year-old musician said at a press conference in NY that he wanted to dedicate himself to his family after becoming the father of two children with his husband, David Fernish.

John and husband David Furnish are raising two young boys.

"It's going to be the most produced, best production I've ever done", he stressed.

"I've had a good run, I think you'd admit that", John said Wednesday.

"I love them so much".

"And that's what I want to do, I'll gradually phase things out in a few years".
