Police in OH received a call from someone in Pakistan Monday, saying that a Cleveland woman had buried her 5-year-old child in her yard.

"Our investigators along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Medical Examiner's Office while digging in this backyard recovered what appears to be human remains; the medical examiner will be taking those remains to their office for further examination", said Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia.

When children's protective services visited Rodriguez's home Monday, they found it infested with cockroaches and rats. A child was once found eating a sandwich with cockroaches.

According to the police report, Rodriguez told police that she has nine children, of which only five live with her.

The arrest affidavit submitted by a Cleveland homicide detective Wednesday said Rodriguez "buried the child inappropriately" and led authorities Tuesday to where his remains could be found.

Investigators say Rodriguez told police that her son had gone to visit his father in Texas earlier this month.

Authorities questioned Larrisa Rodriguez's sister, Ana Rodriguez, who said she once saw Jordan tied up in a corner with a sock in his mouth. The television station reported that Rodriguez claimed she had not seen the boy since December 2, alleging she had "no way of contacting his father". But she also says she did not know the father's phone number or an address to get in touch with him.

Christopher's brother had called Cleveland police from Pakistan and reportedly tipped them that the couple had buried Jordan two months prior after they discovered him unresponsive.

Officials removed four children from the home Monday night, and the children were placed in emergency custody in foster care. A man had called to say that his brother, Christopher Rodriguez, confessed to burying the child with Larissa, his girlfriend. They said Rodriguez is now pregnant with her 10th child.

Christopher Rodriguez, Larissa's husband, is now in Medina County Jail for failing to pay child support. According to documents from children and family services, a neglect complaint was filed four days after the child was born on April 3, 2003. He is now in custody for not paying child support.

The boy, who had special needs, was unable to speak.
