Saints Dolphins Football Jay Ajayi disappoints as Dolphins' offense struggles in Week 4
Isaac Mcdaniel | 02 October, 2017, 00:52

While Ajayi didn't look awful, the Dolphins' offense as a whole struggled, leaving the running back with limited opportunities.

Players for both the Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints took a knee on the field Sunday during the opening moments of a football game in London, one day after President Trump tweeted that it is "very important" that players stand up for the playing of the national anthem. The Dolphins will hope to get Ajayi going against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5, who just gave up 57 points to the Houston Texans.

Despite nursing a knee injury in the run-up to Sunday's game, Ajayi made his worldwide series bow debut after missing out on the Dolphins' defeat to the Jets two years ago with a cracked rib.

It was expected to be a big homecoming for the Dolphins' Jay Ajayi, who was born in the city, but the running back finished with 46 yards on 12 carries.

Do the Dolphins have the worst offense in the NFL?

Tom Price Says He Thinks He Still Has Trump's Confidence
On a June trip to Nashville, Price also had lunch with his son, who lives in that city, according to Politico . Price then said he would end the practice until the HHS inspector general finished his review of the trips.

Many of the Saints drives were kept alive by rookie running back Alvin Kamara who proved to be a matchup nightmare for the Dolphins. "This was all that's mattered for the trip, regardless of what's happened last couple of days. this was the primary objective, to get a win today and we didn't get it done".

Before last week's game, 10 Saints-including Adrian Peterson-sat on the bench.

"People were complaining about the platform we're using", Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro said Friday, per Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate. "I am frustrated", Ajayi said. "I felt we had a great plan coming out here, obviously it's a tough trip coming across the pond".

"Everyone needs to be held accountable on our offence because we're not doing what we need to do and we need to figure it out".

But a 2-for-20 showing on third downs over that two-game span and six total points scored, puts the spotlight on the quarterback, followed closely by the head coach and offensive coordinator.
