Google Photos Can Now Recognise Your Pets Individually

Google Photos now groups your cat and dog photos automatically Google Photos can now tell your pet apart from other animals

Google fixed that particular problem in Google Photos this week by introducing pet detection. This means that you no longer have to type "cat" in the search bar and scroll through hundreds of photos just to find one photo of your pet taken a year ago.

If we talk about the people's reactions and reviews, majority didn't find this new Pet recognition feature in Google Photos app impressive as they didn't get the accurate results even if they search for their dogs pictures. You can then label them by name already so you can easily find photos of them and also photos of you and them. The feature is rolling out to most countries now. You can make a "movie" starring your pets by finding the pictures you've taken of them using the new search feature, and select your favorite shots.

Google Photos is going to the dogs. There is also an option to search by breed and animal emojis within the app.

Barking news! Now, photos of your dog or cat will be grouped alongside people in Google Photos. The app now collects them automatically.

Google Photos has been increasingly using AI-infused computer vision smarts for a while to help its 500 million-plus users organize their snaps, including auto-rotating tools and self-curating features. Some of them are impressed with the results as well. However, the app nailed photos of an orange tabby cat (who's named Pablo, by the way). The announcement has been made by the tech giant, Google on Monday in its blog post. Stay tuned with us for more such updates on technology, smartphones and more!
