Ms Wall disappeared after she boarded the home-made submarine of inventor Peter Madsen, which later sank.

Ms Wall died after going on a trip with Danish inventor Peter Madsen aboard his homemade submarine UC3 Nautilus on August 10.

Police inspector Jens Moller said there was another bag containing her clothes.

Danish inventor Peter Madsen, who has been charged with killing the Swedish journalist, faces a sentence of five years to life in prison if convicted.

Her headless torso was found by a member of the public cycling on Copenhagen's southern Amager Island in August, near where she was believed to have died. He has denied allegations that he was in charge of her demise. He denies the assertion and has called her passing a mischance.

The cause of her death has not been determined, although prosecutor Jakob Buch-Jepsen told a court on Monday that Wall was stabbed at least 15 times in the rib cage and genitals.

Madsen had video footage on his computer showing women being violently killed, a court heard on Tuesday.

"This hard drive doesn't belong to me", Madsen insisted, saying that numerous people had access to his workshop.

After throwing her body parts overboard he deliberately sank the vessel and claimed he had meant to stay on board.

Remedy: This story has been refreshed to clear up that some of Wall's remaining parts were found in a different sack from her apparel. He slipped and lost his grasp on the incubate, which at that point hit her on the head, he said. Madsen was rescued from the sinking vessel and brought ashore, where he was picked up by police, but there was no trace of the missing journalist.
