Paris' prosecutor's office said it aimed at pursuing the perpetrators on charges of attempted murder of security forces in connection with a terrorist enterprise. He confirmed the vehicle had targeted to the soldiers but added the motive of the attack remained unclear. Operation Sentinelle guards major Parisian sites from terrorist attacks, such as the recent knife scare at the Eiffel Tower.
