Dashcam video showing Tiger Woods' Memorial Day encounter with police was made available to the media Wednesday, shedding more light on the golfer's arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Woods, 41, was arrested on Memorial Day after police in Jupiter discovered the golfer just after 2 a.m. asleep in his auto, which was stopped in the right lane of the road. The video shows both the moment officers approached the athlete's 2015 Mercedes-Benz as well as his sobriety test.

A breath test registered a blood alcohol level of 0.00%. In a statement released hours after he was freed from custody on his own recognizance without bond at 10:50 a.m. Monday, he said he had not been drinking when police found him but had an "unexpected reaction" from "a mix of prescription drugs".

In a statement, Woods apologized and said he blamed "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications".

"Do you know where you're at right now?" an officer said after Woods claimed he was coming from Los Angeles in California. Tiger Woods attributed an "unexpected reaction" to prescription medicine for his arrest on a DUI charge that landed him in a Florida jail Monday for almost four hours.

"Whether this is just a misunderstanding. or if he had some medication problems, a mixture of some - I really don't know", Stricker said.

Woods is to be arraigned 5 July in Palm Beach County court on the DUI charge. The officer ends that test and asks Woods to stand on the white line to determine if he can walk straight. "We wish him well", said the 77-year-old. And we wish him well. He is in the midst of a recovery from successful spinal fusion surgery and had been hoping to make another comeback on the PGA Tour.

Prior to the sordid disclosures about his private life, Woods had won 14 majors and was expected to surpass Jack Nicklaus's record of 18 titles. He has expressed a desire to continue to play professionally despite his recent history of injuries.

Woods had undergone a back operation for the fourth time on 20 April.

Woods, victor of 14 majors in the PGA, was disoriented when police started questioning him in Florida early Monday. "I expect more from myself, too", he continued.

The incident report detailed Woods' movements during the Standardized Field Sobriety Tasks, during which police said his eyes were droopy, his pupils were dilated, and he was often swaying and losing his balance.
