Ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier and two other former school administrators were sentenced Friday to at least two months in jail each for failing to report now-convicted sexual predator Jerry Sandusky to law enforcement.
Per PennLive.com's Teresa Bonner, Spanier will serve two months in jail and another two months under house arrest.
Prosecutors slammed all three men, saying they cared more about themselves than about protecting children. Spanier, who was sacked in November 2011 for his handling of the scandal, will spend at least two months in jail and two more on house arrest.
Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno, right, poses with his defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, left, during a Penn State Media Day event in State College, Pa., on August 6, 1999. Sandusky was found guilty the next year of sexually abusing 10 boys and is serving 30 to 60 years in prison.
Curley was sentenced to seven to 23 months' incarceration and two years' probation, Grace said. Both also were fined and ordered to perform community service. Each man also was fined, with Spanier given the heftiest penalty of $7,500. Some reports alleged rape, some alleged nothing more than odd behavior.
Since Sandusky's conviction, Penn State has paid more than $90 million to settle civil claims filed by accusers.
The initial conspiracy and endangerment case against Spanier and the two other administrators had languished for years, managed through multiple Pennsylvania attorneys general and dissected and reshaped by appellate court decisions.

Port St. Joe alum Pryor traded to Browns
The linebacker had some productive years with Gang Green before the Browns signed him away from the Jets in free agency last year. However, it seemed like a trade was unlikely, the Jets evidently weren't getting their asking price from any potential buyers.
Spanier, the former Penn State president, will serve the least amount of jail time of the three. Lawyers said he plans to appeal.
The scandal led to the firing of beloved football coach Joe Paterno shortly after Sandusky's arrest, and he died of cancer two months later at the age of 85.
"It really sickens me to think I might have played a part in children being hurt", Schultz said. "Why he didn't is beyond me", Boccabella said. Spanier was also a fascinating character: He studied sociology and wrote papers about mate-swapping and extramarital behavior, which made for entertaining reading for students.
Bill Oldsey, an alumni-elected member of Penn State's board of trustees and supporter of the three men, said the punishments were too harsh. He didn't appear to understand that the world was watching, telling people the news vans would eventually leave campus and life would return to normal.
Sandusky was not arrested until a tip in 2011 led investigators to interview the shower witness. He served as an assistant coach on Joe Paterno's staff at Penn State from 1969 to 1999.
But Spanier, former athletic director Tim Curley and former vice president Gary Schultz didn't report him to child welfare authorities or police. Those men described McQueary's account to Spanier. The administrators were charged for not properly reporting the incident. She called that inexcusable.
