No charge as coach Agassi works for free with Djokovic

Andre Agassi expects to continue his coaching relationship with world number two Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon next month.

Agassi originally planned to leave before Djokovic's third-round French Open match Friday but apparently reshuffled his plans.

Agassi won the title in 1999 and he insists he is now helping the Serbian for free as he tries to help him regain his best form.

Boris Becker had coached Djokovic until December 2016, since when the 12-time Slam victor has spilt from the remainder of his coaching staff.

Microsoft Apologises for Accidental Release of Internal Windows 10 Builds

Admitting that missing the first one and a half sets of Djokovic's 3hr 18 min battle was unfortunate as it "sets the tone for what's about to happen in the match", Agassi added: "Not having that perspective, I was a little out of sorts to figure out early why we were even in this position". I want to help him and it helps the game. I committed to him that, as long as he feels like I can help him, I will. "Him at his best is good for the game and it s a way I can contribute".

'Andre was not supposed to be here today, he managed to reschedule certain things to come and I appreciate that. I hope that's going to stay for a long time that we can create something that is going to go long term.

"It's a lot of responsibility so whatever's practical and achievable - 100 per cent I will make the effort". I got a call from him late in Monte Carlo after he was done and he wanted to talk tennis and he wanted to talk the possibility of working (together). And then Steffi says, "Maybe you'll enjoy it". "Why did you give me a warning?" He further said that the Serb would win more Grand Slam Titles and that he wouldn't have come back to tennis for anyone else.

Interest in Agassi's itinerary is so high that his upcoming presence at Wimbledon in July became a story on an afternoon when Djokovic was still trying to get to the second week in Paris. His game is about controlling the baseline and it's built on executing to big targets. He's not a guy who plays to lines, he's a guy who throws body blow after body blow after body blow, and he's just never thought a lot about the other side of the court. I think there's ways he can take his game at 30 years old, and older, because hopefully he's going to still want to play for a while.
